And that’s why I created this Website in a Week Experience - to make sure small business owners just like you can get a beautiful, high-quality, and effective website at a just fraction of the cost, done in a fraction of the time.

Within just one week, your new online home will be ready for you to proudly share with the world. You’ll have a stunning, strategically designed Squarespace website that represents your brand, up-levels your business, and books you better clients.

Strategic Planning

Including a brand and website questionnaire that takes a deep dive into your goals; access to your own client dashboard for content collection; and a 1:1 strategy consultation to kick off Website Week.

Your Website Design

A semi-custom Squarespace website of up to 5 core pages*; plus additional support pages (thank-you, email opt-in, 404, T&C’s and privacy page)

Brand Styling

Styled with your branding, colours, and fonts for a website that is unique to your business. You’ll also get a mini brand board PDF so that you can ensure your marketing collateral fits in seamlessly with your new website.

Technical Support

Book a Chat

Book a free virtual call with me so we can get to know each other. We’ll jump on Zoom, have a virtual cuppa, and chat about the finer details of your website project.

If it’s a ‘yes!’ to working together, I’ll send you a link to book your Website Week in my calendar, and you can pay your 25% deposit to secure the date.

As soon as your project is confirmed, I’ll send over a quick website kick-off kit (via email) that contains everything you need to get prepared for your Website Week.

Prepare Your Content

Using the guidelines provided in your website kick-off kit, you’ll gather all of your content and fill in the required questionnaire so that I have everything I need for your website well in advance.

Your website content, along with your branding style guide, all your copy information, and images are due back one week before we start your project.

Once I’ve received your content, we’ll have a kick-off strategy call to go through all of your pre-work questionnaires, ensure I have everything I need, confirm your website goals (including functionality requirements), map out your website plan, and go through an initial website look-and-feel.

Your Website Week

Monday | With your strategy all mapped out, I’ll get cracking first thing. I’ll refine the unique look and feel of your website & send you the Home Page for initial feedback.

Tuesday | You’ll send me your feedback first thing and I’ll get to work designing the rest of the pages on your website.

Wednesday | I start writing your copy while you get your final design feedback to me. You’ll have a chance to review sample copy for the tone of voice before I roll it out site-wide.

Thursday | Today I will finalise your copy, and also get all of the SEO stuff done.

Friday | This is your final review day. Take the weekend to sleep on it, check things with fresh eyes, and get any final changes back to me before Monday. In the background, I’ll get your domain connected!

Monday | We’ll do any last changes and functionality testing. Then we launch when you’re ready!

  • Squarespace is my website platform of choice because of it's amazing design options and ease of use (especially compared to some other platforms, cough cough *Wordpress*). In my humble opinion, it is the perfect choice for people that want a great looking website, but also want to manage and maintain their sites all on their own.

  • The Website in a Week cost is a once-off. However, there are some ongoing costs related to websites that are external to my business and you do need to know about them.

    All my websites require the Business Squarespace plan (see pricing for Squarespace here). This is an ongoing monthly or annual cost that you will be responsible for. However, the Website in a Week pricing includes a 20% discount for your first year with Squarespace.

    You’ll also need to purchase your domain name (website URL) and possibly an email account if you haven’t already. If you choose to host your domain and email account with Squarespace, you may be able to get the first year of domain and email hosting for free.

    And if none of this makes sense, don’t worry, book a chat with me and we can talk through your specific requirements and I can guide you from there.

  • YES! You will 100% own your website and I’ll show you how to maintain it yourself. You will also gain access to a full handover guide that you can refer to in the future should you forget how to make certain changes.

    However, if you don’t have the time (or the inclination) to update your website each month, I also offer ongoing Website Care Plans that can help you ensure that your website grows with your business.

  • Absolutely not!

    Squarespace is super intuitive to use, making it extremely easy for you to update and create new pages without needing to use code.

    While I may add some code to your website, you do not need to know how to code in order to maintain it. That’s one of the reasons why I love using Squarespace! It’s so easy to use, you could be a coupla wines down and still not stuff anything up. Been there!

  • I sure can. Many of my clients have opted to move from Wordpress to Squarespace cos it’s da bomb diggity!

  • Seriously, just one week my friend! No more, no less. We start on Monday and launch the following Monday.

  • At the time of booking, a 25% deposit is required to secure your date in my calendar. At the start of your Website Week, you can either pay another 25% or the remaining 75%. Any outstanding amount will be due upon completion, prior to your website going live. This usually spreads the payment out enough for my clients to manage.

    But, if you need to set up an alternative payment plan, please reach out and we can talk about your individual needs.
