General Questions

  • If you already know what you need help with, you can book directly through my website. I have direct booking pages for VIP Marketing Days, Website in a Week services, and Digital Strategy Sessions.

Alternatively, book a free discovery call with me here and let’s chat!

  • All of my work is delivered virtually, so I can work with you no matter where you are in the world.

But, if you do happen to be local to the GC, then I’d LOVE to meet IRL for a coffee or a vino!

  • 110%

I do all of my work online, utilising the best digital tools, like Zoom, Slack and Voxer. So geographical distance is not a problem. Timezones? Maybe more so, but we’ll find a way around that together!

  • Yes I do. Please contact me directly to chat about this in more detail.

  • I sure do. But probably not in the way that you’ve traditionally seen a retainer service from a marketing agency.

My streamlined VIP Day process is the product of nearly two decades in the industry. It’ll surprise you how quickly I zoom through your punch list. So while this *can* be a one-time thing, you may choose to book in regular days that suit you and your business. Many of my VIP Marketing Day clients choose monthly or quarterly days (ft. a sweet discount) and skip the traditional, expensive retainer altogether.

VIP Day Questions

  • A VIP Marketing Day is a high-touch, high-reward marketing intensive, where I work on your marketing project for one laser-focused day.

They’re designed to deliver your work quicker than a traditional freelance project, they’re easier than just having a “plan” that you never actually execute, and they’re way more efficient than DIYing!

  • Yes, seriously! And your business deserves it!

A VIP Day is a collaborative process, and we’ll work together before, during and after the day. But, for the most part, I will dedicate 7 full hours to just you and your business, strategising, creating and implementing. It is a fun and highly efficient experience.

  • These are some of the common systems/tools I am familiar with:

    ~ Websites - Squarespace, Shopify

~ Email Marketing - Mailchimp, Flodesk, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, Constant Contact, MailerLite

~ Social Media - Facebook Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later, Plann

    ~ Design - Canva

~ SEO - SERanking, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google My Business

~ Other tools - Asana, Slack, Trello, Loom, MemberVault, Notion

I am always open to working with new tools and platforms, so let’s chat during a discovery call.

  • Streamlined processes, fluff-free deliverables and *both* my eyes solely on your business means we can get a surprising amount done in one day.

Each VIP Day is different, depending on your needs and goals, but here are some detailed examples:

    1. 60 Days of Social Posts, including feed posts, reels and stories, scheduled and ready to go!

    2. Campaign Collateral, including 2 flyers, 30+ social media templates, 1 email template and a campaign landing page.

    3. Customer Journey development, including transactional emails, email automations, scheduling set up and full enquiry workflow.

These area few examples from VIP Days I have done in the past, but that might get your ideas flowing as to what the possibilities are. If you still have questions, we can go through all of these during a free discovery call.

  • I offer a unique way of working together. Unlike most marketers or website designers, I do all work via a series of full-day intensives, rather than the traditional freelancer method of long-term projects. The number of days required is determined by the scope of your project.

In the question before, I outlined a few examples of what I have achieved in a day before. However, if your project scope is bigger than this, then I’d estimate that we need more than one day together.

I’ve found this to be the most productive and efficient way to work on marketing and website projects, and since making this my primary service, the feedback has been incredible. It’s really remarkable how much more we’re able to get done when we can focus for a full day on just one project.

In our initial discovery call, I will be as upfront as possible as to how many days I think we will need to complete your project in its entirety. If it’s more than one day, we can always just start there and see how much we get through - you might be pleasantly surprised.

At the end of the day, you can assess the work and then decide if you want to book in another full or half-day with me.

  • We will go through this in detail during your kick-off call, but here is a quick snapshot:

    1. A prioritised list of what you’d like done

    2. Any logins or access I may require for on the day

    3. Content - this may be copy, images, brand guidelines, examples of previous work etc.

    4. Availability on the day of your intensive to answer questions & give feedback

  • A full one-day intensive costs $1,800 + GST. A half-day intensive, which is only available as an add-on or to clients I have worked with previously, costs $950 + GST.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your VIP date on my calendar, and the remaining balance is due by the day-of your intensive. You can also opt for an 8-week payment plan to spread the cost out if you prefer.

  • Investing in your brand can be daunting. I get that! I also get that you’re busy, hustling and tired of the juggle (you wouldn’t be here otherwise!).

So let me ask you this: what’s the cost of not bringing in a pro? What’s the cost of allowing the crickets to take over your social channels? And I don’t mean just dollar-wise. I’m talking the price of this compared to your business’ success long-term. The cost of brand content that gently fades into the background (along with the enquiries). And let’s not get started on the cost of not having ample time in your genius zone.

As a small business owner myself, I understand that cashflow comes into the equation. That’s exactly why my payment plan exists. Pay as little as $250+GST now to lock in your date, then pay the rest over weekly or fortnightly instalments. Want to discuss alternatives? Email me direct at janelle@kyahdigital.com.au and let's chat it out.

  • Working with someone new always comes with unique challenges. Trust can be one of them! So it’ll calm your mind to know that nearly two decades in the marketing space has armed me with the skill of

    1. creating captivating marketing materials quickly and

    2. delivering above and beyond

I’ve achieved a 100% 5-star rating from VIP Marketing Day clients, and if any changes are required, they’ve all been made in the bonus 2-hour support services I offer.

Website in a Week Questions

  • That entirely depends how quickly you can gather and prepare your content. I usually recommend at least a week or two for this process, but that depends where you are at within your business.

Also keep in mind that Website Weeks may book out in advance, so if you’d like to secure your spot, I recommend booking in ASAP. You can always lock in a date 2 or 3 months ahead with a 25% deposit, to give yourself time to prepare.

  • Squarespace is my website platform of choice because of it's amazing design options and ease of use (especially compared to some other platforms, cough cough *Wordpress*). In my humble opinion, it is the perfect choice for people that want a great looking website, but also want to manage and maintain their sites all on their own.

  • The Website in a Week cost is a once-off. However, there are some ongoing costs related to websites that are external to my business and you do need to know about them.

All my websites require the Business Squarespace plan (see pricing for Squarespace here). This is an ongoing monthly or annual cost that you will be responsible for. However, the Website in a Week pricing includes a 20% discount for your first year with Squarespace.

You’ll also need to purchase your domain name (website URL) and possibly an email account if you haven’t already. If you choose to host your domain and email account with Squarespace, you may be able to get the first year of domain and email hosting for free.

And if none of this makes sense, don’t worry, book a chat with me and we can talk through your specific requirements and I can guide you from there.

  • YES! You will 100% own your website and I’ll show you how to maintain it yourself. You will also gain access to a full handover guide that you can refer to in the future should you forget how to make certain changes.

However, if you don’t have the time (or the inclination) to update your website each month, I also offer ongoing Website Care Plans that can help you ensure that your website grows with your business.

  • Absolutely not!

Squarespace is super intuitive to use, making it extremely easy for you to update and create new pages without needing to use code.

While I may add some code to your website, you do not need to know how to code in order to maintain it. That’s one of the reasons why I love using Squarespace! It’s so easy to use, you could be a coupla wines down and still not stuff anything up. Been there!

  • I sure can. Many of my clients have opted to move from Wordpress to Squarespace cos it’s da bomb diggity!

  • Seriously, 5 business days my friend! No more, no less.

[Insert clause here that this refers to the inclusions stated in the Website in a Week package, and not larger website projects.]

  • I can definitely still help you!. Just reach out and let’s chat about your specific requirements and we can go from there!

  • At the time of booking, a 25% deposit is required to secure your date in my calendar. At the start of your Website Week, you can either pay another 25% or the remaining 75%. Any outstanding amount will be due upon completion, prior to your website going live. This usually spreads the payment out enough for my clients to manage.

But, if you need to set up an alternative payment plan, please reach out and we can talk about your individual needs.

  • Not much is required of you during the Website Week. I will probably check-in with an update or feedback request 3-4 times throughout the week. I ask you respond to any questions or provide feedback within 24 hours, or sooner if possible. If a call will be easier, we can arrange a time in advance.

Before your Website Week kicks off, I will provide you with a full timeline of check-ins and feedback deadlines so that you can prepare your week in advance.

Strategy Questions

  • Yes and no. It can be. Or you can choose to book in a monthly strategy call (at a discounted rate), to ensure you have continuous guidance as and when those pesky marketing issues crop up.

  • Would you build a house without first drawing up a floor plan?

Would a champion rugby team expect to win a match without first developing a game plan?

    Of course not.

Managing your business without a strategic marketing plan is the same as just plopping down some bricks here and there and hoping a house is built when you’re done. It just doesn’t work that way. Every business should have a marketing floorplan to guide them to success.
